Oh, as you've been before can you advise what the food and booze prices are usually like on site? Also if you happen to Facebook, I'm Lula Bartooth Bell, add me and it'll be easier to organise through, if that's okay with you :-3

Ah well I just wrote a very short list of what is needed so I'm hoping most will fit into my rucksack aside from my tent (it's a pop-up so is a circle shape) and my beers (I will be bringing about 2-3 crates depending on what's on offer). So hopefully I can manage that okay :-) I look forward to the master class.

Firebug is my favourite place in the whole world. As for packing light, that's where there may be a problem, I'm a bit over prepared when it comes to camping but will see what I can do. I've not been to 2K Trees before but have always fancied it so am excited to finally be going this year. :-)

I live in Leicester :-) well if you need anyone to carpool with me let me know. I have a corsa though so I can't take a car full and all their stuff.

Well I was most concerned about having people to camp with, so it'd be great if I can join you guys. As for transport if it's going to be tricksy then I can sort myself out, I have a car. But I'm with you and the environment thing so if there's space for the carpooling available then let me know!

Hi there, I've noticed you're going to 2000 Trees, was wondering if you have room for a camper? I've bought my tickets (Early Bird ones) and I actually have no one to go with. The line up is looking great though so I couldn't miss out.

:) there's simply too much great music yet to discover.. I've always had problems deciding for either this or that or completely another artist, and in the end I'm finding back to my old but true musical companions.. or I'm suddenly and unexptectedly discovering a new musical pearl (rcurrently: throes of dawn. considering your love for anathema, I could imagine that you might like them :)). seems to be only depending on what your feelings tell you

Yo lad! Sounds like a good idea to me :) I get back from my trip in Europe on the 12th, have some important stuff to sort out early on the 13th but I ought to be alright to head there that night assuming staff have to go down the day before like last year. This is all under the assumption that they'll allow a last minute switch of people though...

Inside the booklet there's only a small part of Burnt Reynolds' lyrics. I'm trying to figure out the rest. Did you manage to do that?

hi dan! I remember that you once mentioned long distance calling, saying that you just couldn't get why you didn't noticed them earlier ^^ they've recently released a new album, self-titled, which I regard as even better than all they had created thus far. check it out, if you've got some spare time ;) besides, some of the most interesting post-rock bands seem to have made the arrangement to release their new albums almost at the same time (e.g. explosions in the sky, this will destroy you, and so I watch you from afar) as i can see, you're already listening to ASIWYFA's new album. I can't wait to check it out as well, but I need a proper situation and feeling to do so

Hey. There are 2 more albums : 2008 - Dakota Took To Wing And History Was Made [EP] and 2008 - From Ruins. Check them out, they are great too. Also, I heard that hes working on a new album. Don't think Toma can be compared to other bands... its unique :) well maybe "Indignu" very emotional portuguese post-rock http://methogm.blogspot.com/2010/08/indignu.html

ahh that's awesome! i love friendly festivals, i've been to Off The Cuff for the last two years and it's been amazing, when the bands are done they just come in the crowd (it's that small it's basically in a pub) and they're awesome and just stand and talk to you and everything. Quite a few bands you'll probably like have played, check it out! it's at The Flapper in Birmingham :] ahhh what an awesome birthday present! i'm seeing Jimmy Eat World, Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters the day after my 21st which is pretty awesome! Jealous you've seen 65daysofstatic so many times! x

Haha yes, i love febuary time, there's always so many gigs! though i can't go to either of the ones tonight unfortuently :( i almost went to 2000 Trees last year but i went to Off The Cuff instead, and work wouldn't let me have the 2000 trees weekend off anyway. it's already looking good for this year though, that's definitely an option for my summer :) yes, i'm really fond of Anathema's new album, i can't believe how good they sound live. Yeahh i like And So I Watch You From Afar :D mogwai are my favourites at the minute, so excited to see them for the first time next week. i listened to Codes In The Clouds earlier, they sounded pretty good :] x

Hah, thanks?! I find there's something fascinating about the tiniest things in life that everyone seems to overlook. I've currently got a 28-135 zoom and a 60mm macro, won't be buying anything more until I get a job though :( What did you get for yours btw? (just message me back man since I've gotten rid of my shoutbox)

I'm listening to demians right now.. and I'm pretty sure that I'll take pleasure in their music.. :) I'm already impressed. comparable bands that initally came to my mind are porcupine tree, klimt 1918 and aeon spoke.. but demians seem to make use of more heavy riffage and post-rock elements then the previously mentioned groups do. nice work :) thanks! and I hope you'll enjoy collapse under the empire - let me know about your impressions!
