Definitely his best project right now. Jesu music from the past 5 years makes me very sad.

although I love the classic JK Flesh, the new releases are also quite good; it's evident how JKB is slowly getting into the world of techno and club music

Posthuman > Suicide Estate Antibiotic Armageddon > Worship is the Cleansing of the Imagination > Rise Above > Nothing is Free all of them are top notch dank af industrial noise, though

I'm taking my words about "Nothing is Free" back; it grew on me, so I consider it to be the second best after "Posthuman"

i think Rise Above is great. it's pulling me initially already a lot more than Nothing Is Free did, which i feel like really only has about 2 or 3 standout tracks on it. i have always found the JK Flesh work to be more groove and beat-oriented than any sort of majorly significant noise deconstruction, and it succeeds really well on that front. i enjoy that JK continues to experiment with many different sounds over the years between all of his different projects and watching them all change over time as they influence one another.

Posthuman was fine, Nothing is Free was alright, Rise Above is… yeah, really really weak. The man's losing it, hate to say it.

It's good only when you don't take into account that it is Broadrick. Compared to the stuff he made in the 90s and early 00s, it's really meh. It's strange that I can't really like this album considering that I admire Orphx, and I like Electric Deluxe output in general. Such type of dirty production doesn't go well with techno I suppose. Zonal and The Sidewinder were much more inspired, well-thought and interesting than this.

Haven't heard the new JK Flesh one so far. If you're into his chill stuff, check out the latest album of Council Estate Electronics, Arktika. It's pretty distinctive dub/ambient techno album with a hint of his old Final sound. Also, it has a pretty Interesting concept. I'm glad owning a CD of this.
